3. Out of bounds rule- The out of bounds
rule works just like it does in tennis. If you hit the ball out of bounds it’s the other teams point or possession.
If the ball hits in your square and begins to travel out of bounds you can then travel out of bounds to save it. This
player cannot cross the midline that extends from the court, whether it is visible or not. This is the only time a player
is allowed out of bounds
4. Juggling Rule - The ball may be juggled
in the air with any part of the body other than the arms or hands an infinite number of times. The ball may also be
passed back and forth between teammates an infinite number of times.
5. Line hit rule - A ball that hits directly
on a out of bounds or midline during play is considered inbounds, But if the ball is being served it must cross completely
over the midline.
6. Games are played until a team reaches 20
points, games always must be won by 2 or more points otherwise play continues until a team has 2 more points than the
other team. Example - If team A has 18 points then team B needs 20 to win, but if team A has 19, team B must get 21.
7. Finger balled - If a team member touches the
ball with hand or arm intentionally it is called Finger Ball and the opposite team receives a point whether they were serving
or not.
8. Arms and hands - A ball can touch the hand
or arms if they are against the body and not intended to touch the ball, just like in soccer.
9. Roll Rule - If a ball rolls in a square
it is considered to have bounced in that square multiple times, unless the ball was already in a roll in the opposing team’s
square, then possession switches to the other team.
10. Spike Rule - A player can spike or even
stop the ball on the opponent’s side as long as he or she is not in violation of the Midline or arms and hand rules.
11. Once a team reaches 10 points, the teams
must exchange sides on the court.
12. Time-outs: Teams have an amount of 2 time-outs
per side, allowing them to substitute players if another player is available.
13. A player may not kick the ball at another player
intentionally with excessive force. A player may only kick the ball with intents to have it land in the opposing square, or
to pass it to a teammate.
14. A player may catch the ball between his/her
legs but once his/her feet touch the court they may not take a step in either direction. Once a player has the ball bewteen
his/her legs they may pass it to a teammate or drop the ball and kick it before it hits the ground, or, if the player can
let it hit the ground without giving the other team a point or losing possession, then her or she may do so.
15. Bonus Point- If you or a member of your team kicks the ball and it is out of bounds but hasn’t hit the
ground yet and it is still on your side of the invisible extending midline, then you or your team mate may run out of bounds
and hit the ball back into the opposing team’s side. If the ball makes contact with their side and hits 2 times or hits
and goes out then it results in 2 points for your team.
